We enjoy welcoming Deakin staff, students and groups who need a few nights accommodation to support their learning, work arrangements or group needs.  If you would like to stay less than 30 days please enquire via the link below.

Students on Placement

Regardless of which university you attend if you are completing a work placement as part of your course you are welcome to stay with us. Our on campus apartments and units are conveniently located and a great place to base yourself during your placement as you also gain access to our free laundries and 24/7 security. To apply please register via the link below and choose the students on placement option once you have registered.

I chose to live on campus during placement for a multitude of reasons. It was central, felt safe, the rooms were super comfortable and it was very well priced for the amount of time I needed to stay and amenities that I required.

Temporary Workers

We enjoy welcoming Deakin staff and travelling professionals who require more than 30 days. For longer stays please register via the link below and choose the temporary worker option once you have registered.

Our apartments

Standard single room

Located within a shared 5–9 bedroom apartment, our standard single rooms are equipped with a king single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. Bathrooms are communal with separate toilets, and each unit contains a large open plan fully equipped and air-conditioned kitchen, dining and living area with free wi-fi. Free laundry facilities are also available onsite. Suitable for Deakin students and staff.

5–9 bedroom apartments

Our modern 5–9 bedroom apartments are suitable for larger groups and available in a wide variety of bedroom configurations. Guests will have their own private bedroom with king single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. The air-conditioned communal living areas within these apartments contain an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area and guests will share bathrooms with separate toilets. Wi-fi is free, as is access to the laundry facilities onsite and these apartments are highly suited to larger group bookings.

Security is our top priority with all guests provided their own individual FOB to access buildings and your private room


Our staff and dedicated security officers patrol our precinct 24 hours a day


  • Check in time of 2pm, check out time of 10am.

  • Deakin Guest Internet (please note that we do not manage this service).

  • Heating in rooms.

  • Ironing facilities in our laundries (no hair dryers are provided).

  • Linen and basic kitchen utensils.

  • Air conditioning in common areas – please refer to our room type information.

  • Access to the University library (Deakin staff and students only).

  • Bookings to state-of-the-art meeting rooms.

  • Pre-organise meals, directly ordered with one of our on-site food outlets.

  • Campus cafe (Monday to Friday, excluding Christmas).

  • ATM (on campus).

  • Bicycle storage.
